King Penguin Gets Promoted to Brigadier at Edinburgh Zoo

Edinburgh Zoo's famous knighted king penguin, Sir Nils Olav III, was recently promoted from colonel to the senior military rank of brigadier by members of the Norwegian King's Guard. King penguins from the Edinburgh Zoo have been mascots of the Norwegian Royal Guard since 1972.
